Lunapads are designed with two washable parts: the pad with wings that fasten around the gusset of your underwear with a sewn-on plastic snap, and the liner that is worn on top of the pad and held in place with bands. Liners are what make the pads so versatile and functional. Made from two layers of highly absorbent fleece, liners absorb the majority of your menstrual flow, leaving the pad base relatively clean and dry. A single pad will get you through an entire day of your cycle; just change the liner as needed.
