"I love the Natracare pads. The cotton is super soft and breathes. I don’t experience the discomfort that I did with other brands."
OvaCue II Fertility Monitor : Predicts Ovulation Using the Electrolyte Method
The OvaCue II Fertility Monitor represents a major advance for women looking to identify their complete fertile window. OvaCue works by measuring the electrolyte levels in your saliva which change in concert with your ovulatory cycle.
- Electrolyte Method tracks changes to electrolyte levels in your saliva to precisely define peak fertility
- With 98.3% reliability indicates current cycle day, peak fertility days and when ovulation has occurred to help optimize your chances of conceiving
- Just as the oral sensor measures electrolytes in saliva, the OvaCue Vaginal Sensor measures electrolyte changes in vaginal mucus to determine the change from estrogen to progesterone dominance that marks ovulation and the end of the fertile window
Planning a baby? Insight to your cycle and intercourse timing is key. The new OvaCue II Fertility Monitor represents a major advance for women looking to identify their complete fertile window. OvaCue works by measuring your electrolyte levels which change in concert with your ovulatory cycle. Ovacue's Electrolyte Method is 98.3% accurate and easy to use. Simply place a spoon-sized sensor on your tongue for five seconds each morning and the OvaCue will automatically record your fertility for the day. The OvaCue tracks the readings in memory and indicates your most fertile days graphically on a calendar giving you a clear picture and advance notice for which days offer the best chances for getting pregnant.
However, advance ovulation notice is only half of what you need to plan intercourse. Since the window for successful fertilization can be as short as a day or less, you also need accurate prediction as the time of ovulation draws close. Some fertility monitors give lengthy notice, but also give “false positives” eight or more days in advance and may continue giving false positives even after ovulation has occurred. By using the OvaCue vaginal sensor accessory, in conjunction with the oral sensor, OvaCue measures electrolyte changes in vaginal mucus to determine the change from estrogen to progesterone dominance that marks ovulation and the end of the fertile window.
The OvaCue requires no urine sampling and can be used for many years with no additional purchases required. The OvaCue comes complete with the base unit, sealed oral sensor, carrying case, owner’s manual, battery and a free pregnancy test.
